In the Gallery

through Saturday June 4th:

AT THE CENTER

A SOLO SHOW featuring 18 works since 2022 by Gallery Artist, Virginia Shepley

Virginia Shepley is an abstract painter using line drawing and biomorphic forms to visually represent fundamental spiritual ideas. Inspired by eastern philosophies, she explores unity and duality on paper as a metaphor for the human struggle to find a place of balance.

Using a meditative process of drawing, her works emerge through the physical interaction with the paper surface. Her color palette is symbolic and each color carries meaning for the artist. Using visually divided spaces, her works highlight the separation between our physical world and the unseen yet create a unified whole.
